We are looking for a talented Intermediate Web Application developer to join our team in designing and developing our popular cloud-based booking and e-commerce application. You’ll get to learn and gain hands-on experience in a team-based, agile-friendly work environment with our unique industry and customers. 

You are

A creative intermediate web application developer with a passion for technology and innovation. You enjoy a team environment and collaborating with others to produce the best product possible. 

You should have

  • 3-4+ years experience developing production-quality software at high scale

  • A Deep knowledge in web technologies - PHP, Javascript (ReactJS, jQuery), PostgreSQL

  • Familiarity with source control systems (Git).

  • Experience with popular web platforms / API’s including as many of these as possible: Facebook, Twitter, Quickbooks, WordPress, Google Apps, Paypal, Authorize.net, SagePay, Xero, Travelocity, Expedia, OpenID, Stripe, Salesforce, Desk.com (we can go on).

  • A passion for learning the latest technologies and standards.

  • Fanatical attention to detail and data security.

We’d love you to have

  • Experience deploying and maintaining web server technology (Amazon, Google Cloud).

  • Test Automation.

  • Great at prioritizing tasks and taking ownership of your work.

  • A good understanding of enterprise cloud applications.

  • Experience in the hospitality, event management, or other schedule based business management systems.

  • An appreciation for well-designed apps, UX / UI.

  • Previous experience in a SaaS, or service based business.

We think it is awesome if you live somewhere outside of Canada, but please note the preference for this role is located in our beautiful head office in Victoria, BC.
